The Lodge

The White Mountain Lodge was originally an early homestead in Greer, built in 1892 as a pioneer family home.   In 1940 lodging was first offered to tourists.  Over the years, this historic log cabin has been expanded and remodeled to accommodate guests who visit this beautiful valley.  The lodge consists of an owner’s suite, 4 guest rooms/suites, a large common area, outdoor patios, fire pit, swings, and large lawn.  A hearty home made breakfast is served each morning.

Greer has become a White Mountains vacation retreat in the pines, aspens, lake and rivers.  Each season has something to offer:  cool summers, fall foliage, winter snow, spring renewal.  Guests come to relax, explore, hike, fish, bike, ski, hunt, view wildlife and wildflowers.  Skiers enjoy the warmth and coziness of mountain lodging just 19 miles from Sunrise Ski Resort.

Jim and Lyn welcome you to their charming, historic home and look forward to hosting you during your stay in Greer.
